Makinex is an Australian owned private company that have been experts in the design, development and distribution of innovative products since 2004, providing solutions to the construction, landscaping, equipment hire, infrastructure and related industries.

Makinex is about making inefficiencies extinct, where the name itself comes from this driving force. Makinex strives towards continuous improvement by looking closely at our business to find unique, innovative and practical product solutions that provide contractors and tradespeople with a better way to do their jobs to save time, physical effort and money. We believe that ‘good enough’ is never enough for our customers.

With plans to expand the existing designed product range, growth in local and global markets and a commitment to ongoing research and development, Makinex is experiencing tremendous growth, particularly in our own line of designed and manufactured products.

I have always wanted to make things work better faster and easier. My quest to make inefficiencies extinct started when I ran a product design business for 15 years, which then lead to Makinex 11 years ago.

I am driven by the ability to invent products that make a difference, products that put a smile on people’s faces when they first see and use the product. I also enjoy working with the team who create the success of Makinex.

My experience is 25 years of Sales and Logistics Management.

What I particularly  like about working at Makinex is taking new innovative  products to existing markets which offer genuine efficiencies in how our customers perform their work. I also appreciate how management allows the employees to express and implement their ideas. It makes you feel like you are actually contributing to the success in the growth of the business.

I have worked in sales for over 10 years and previously to Makinex worked in the real estate industry.

The wide range of products we manufacture and the number of different industries we work with is what I enjoy about working at Makinex.  Getting out and meeting with different customers onsite and demonstrating machines to help get their job done safer, easier and faster.  I rely on my customers to spread the word on our machines through the industry and as such when they buy machines from me they are entering into a relationship.  I go out of my way to make sure the customer is happy and having a great experience with our products.

Stuart has a plethora of industry knowledge and contacts with 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. He has sold and been associated with brands such as Master Finish, Chapin, Marshalltown, Bartell and Easymix.

 

He brings with him strong experience in change management which will support Makinex in its current growth period and will be looking at growing their dealership network and relationships.

Stuart says that he hopes to build business growth and the Makinex brand profile across a greater breadth of the market, utilising his skills, experience and knowledge to better service and support the Australian Market, with products that provide consistent performance benefits

In his spare time loves the outdoor lifestyle and socialising with friends and family around the BBQ.

Rob Veld
Regional Sales Manager

Robert Veld has been in sales for 20 years with the majority of that time spent in the building/construction industries selling many well-known brands.

Besides interacting with customers, he loves the innovation to industry that the MAKINEX range of products represents & the improvements to productivity & efficiency that they can make.

Demonstrating them to potential customers is certainly one of the perks that comes with working for MAKINEX.

In his spare time he enjoys getting outdoors and going fishing.

Bec Davidson
Account Manager - Victoria

Bec has 3 years experience in the construction industry as an account manager working within the fencing and building sector.

She is now our “Go to” in Victoria and as a local she has a great knowledge and understanding of the state and it’s needs.
